About Shannon

Shannon works in tech sales, mostly from home, but often traveling internationally to represent her team. She loves entertaining, dining out, exploring new cities, and has a huge network of friends and family. Having worked in hospitality for many years, Shannon excels at putting people at ease with her warm and professional manner. Her Bright Winter palette perfectly accents her vivid red hair, blue eyes, and creamy skin.

Shannon’s Style Goals

Shannon loves clean, breezy fashion with a soft organic glamour that comes from her years of enjoying the natural beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area. Although she is petite, Shannon looks her best in long, unbroken lines with fluid structure. She loves feminine accents like bright lipstick, gleaming gold jewelry, and touchable, draped fabrics.

Shannon’s Style needs

Shannon wants a versatile wardrobe that packs well and enhances her appearance. Although many of her days are spent at home, she thrives with structure and visibility: Bright Winter colors are perfect for perking her up, even if it’s just on a video call.

My Styling suggestions

Shannon already loves red and pink worn together, which happens to be a wonderful Bright Winter combo. Her coral-kissed reds and hot pinks look wonderful alongside her best neutrals: navy and white. Although Bright Winters can technically wear black, the standard crisp black can be too cool and too dark for Bright Winters, especially those who exhibit warm “surface” characteristics. Owing to both her coppery hair, blue eyes, and pale skintone, Shannon looks more in-focus and vivid in clear navy as opposed to black. Her whites are either snowy and pure, or touched with a hint of pale yellow, pairing beautifully with the rest of her neutral-cool bright palette.

I suggested a few other colors to sprinkle into her regular closet rotation: clear cerulean and saturated turquoise (both reminiscent of the tones of the Mediterranean Sea), zingy shades like amaranth and bougainvillea purple, deep grass green, and canary yellow. Bright Winters look gorgeous when they incorporate more than one bright tone alongside a light and dark neutral.

Shannon looks excellent in long, unbroken lines with fluidity. Silk and linen are some of her best fabrics, and she looks relaxed but not sloppy in a collared shirt with a half-tuck and a pair of wide-legged trousers. Jumpsuits and maxi dresses are perfect for her, in casual and dressy situations. I advised her to look for one-piece items that incorporated at least two colors, to avoid wearing just one shade from head to toe. Cardigans and jackets look best when they fall to the knee or below, and moderately deep V necks, wrap necklines, cowl necklines, and bateau necklines are all flattering to her petite frame and help give her more length and space to play with. Long, wispy scarves are an opportunity to incorporate more soft textiles, and can often be found in her most exciting Bright Winter colors. For jeans, a full trouser or flare leg works to elongate Shannon’s line and complement the drapey aspects of her style. For daily wear, espadrilles lend that organic, naturalistic feel without compromising on style. For events, chunky heels with bold contrasting shades are a fun option.

Jewelry should appear substantial not delicate—drop earrings or thin chains are too flimsy for her. Chunky oval or trapezoid hoops, stacked bangles, and rings—all with soft white pearls or gemstones like emerald, pink tourmaline, lapis, and tanzanite are an easy way to incorporate glamour, shine, and color into her looks. Although Bright Winter can wear both silver and gold, Shannon has a strong preference for gold, and I see no reason to change things up.

Shannon loves bright lipstick, and that is her go-to event makeup. However, our color analysis gave her the confidence to know that she looks great in a bold lip look on any occasion. For very dressed-down days, she can wear her best coral-red and hot pink shades in sheer balm formulations for a natural and approachable vibe. With her light coloring overall, I recommended a brown mascara which will define her eyes without dimming her glow.
