Kirsten needs comfort and ease from her wardrobe. She lives with a chronic illness, which sometimes leaves her low-energy and without the enthusiasm to put together complex outfits. My Styling suggestions
Although blue jeans are acceptable in Kirsten’s line of work, her preference for elegance and her True Winter palette make white or charcoal jeans an ideal staple piece. A generously cut trouser style is professional and comfortable, respecting Kirsten’s long body line and her love of relaxed silhouettes. We prioritized comfort for shoes, as Kirsten is an athlete and an avid hiker who needs to keep her feet healthy and happy. Low-heeled mules with contrast stitching add a bit of interest, even rendered in a neutral color. Although some offices permit open-toed shoes, mules are a more professional alternative to sandals. Sneakers are an excellent opportunity for a pop of color and contrast—rendered in colored leather, they look clean and polished.
